I'm a husband, a father, a combat vet & a designer. I like people, learning & living fully… This is my experience.
In February of 2010, my new life began. I sluggishly woke up in a military medical hospital without both legs, a broken jaw, a head wrapped in gauze & confusion about what happened to me. Later, when fully aware, I realized that I was injured in war & told that I was in a coma for about two weeks. Dazed, confused but thankful for life, I wondered, what was next. I had a purpose right? Had my hands, sight, hearing, love & motivation… everything that's needed to progress… so that's what happened.
I soon learned to walk & design again, but now... everything's for a reason & I'm enjoying life.

Every city across the country has at least one school or organization with an eagle as its' mascot. I decided to go with the widely used mascot, but use a different approach. Instead of using the head or wings, I focused on the talon. It's how it hunts, captures its prey, and the term, “talon” is synonymous with the eagle.
